Friends of Muni Renovations

The 18-hole public championship golf course was designed in 1926 by Donald Ross. The old Donald Ross design at Wilmington Municipal Golf Course has been lengthened over the years to 6,784 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 71. John Fought renovated the Wilmington Municipal Golf Courses greens and drainage in 2015.

2016 Park Bond Referendum, Renovation to the Muni Clubhouse

We continue to renovate the course to this day.

  • Purchase of 25-12’ Live Oak Trees and 10-10’ Pine Trees for the course

  • Women’s Restroom painting, new window trim, new artwork and new furniture
